In its nature, the plant tissue analyze is a chemical analyze of certain plant organs, known as indicators. According to the phenophase there are different indicators taken into account when conducting analysis – leaves, stems or fruits. By studying these organs agronomists can determine the nutrients obtained by the plant.

At next stage the results are compared to the levels of optimal content of each nutrient in plants determined on the basis of experiments.

The min and max values of these levels depend on the plant species and the phenophase

How can farmers use the results from the analysis?

Results provide farmers with insights about their plants, thus they can take action in order to improve crop.

One way to do so is to provide the plants with additional nutrients where they are needed according to the results. Another is to prevent plants from surplus amounts of nutrients.

These two decision based on precise information are both ecofriendly and effective economically.

What are the main stages within the analysis?

  1. Pre Sample period
  2. Analysis of the following nutrient elements obtained by the plants
  • Nitrogen
  • Phosphorous
  • Potassium
  • Calcium
  • Magnesium
  • Sodium
  • Iron
  • Copper
  • Zinc
  • Manganese
  • Boron
  • Sulphur
